Dog Arthritis Medication
My dog is suffering with Arthritis - Is there any good alternative remedies?
My 11 year old Red Setter has O/A in his left shoulder causing him to stumble after walking only 20 minutes. We have been to the vets and he has had the usual x-ray and is on Rinadyl tablets twice a day. Can anyone suggest a good (tried and tested) supplementary medication to help with the condition (similar to the Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin tablets you can get)
We have searched the internet and there are different types available. Has anyone had any success with these supplementary medications and what would you recommend?
Only serious replies please as this is a sensitive subject.
sorry the tablets are Rimadyl not Rinadyl - my sausage fingers on the keyboard.
I worked at an animal hospital and all five of the vets recommended a supplement called INHOLTRA. I then did a training for the doctor that came up with it. He gave me a lot of info on it. It is all natural and it works wonders on humans as well. You give it by weight and they will respond to it usually within 24 hours. Most Health Food Stores have it or they can get it. You can also get it on the net.
