How Much Glucosamine For Dogs
Hey Guys, Dog Food Question?
Hey guys,
It's been just a week now that we've had a new member of the family - Golden Retriever puppy(hes bonded to me like superglue I love him so much heehee) and I'm looking for a bit of advice. Oh by the way he's ten weeks today.
- I have him on Nutrience for puppies but I add a dash of olive oil (enough to coat the food) and add a sprinkling of ground flaxseed to it. Is this good or can I do a bit better? I'm wondering if i give like a half wet/dry with flax would that be better?
-Also how soon should/or if I start him on supplements like glucosamine and chondroitin?
-I'm trouble teaching him the basics of 'fetch' despite his breed haha. any tips?
-I find that though he urinates several times a day, he only does his 'poopeetime' once a day. Is this normal for his age? I would have thought he would go more than once but am not sure.
Thats all I have to ask for now I know its alot of questions hehe I'll probably have more as they come, but thanks in advance!
pooping once a day is normal.
fetch will come in time.
don't start him on supplements unless theres something wrong and your vet recommends it.
if you are feeding an adequate diet (iams, science diet, purina) you shouldn't have to add all that stuff to his food.
